Where Play Meets Policy: MaineAEYC’s Week of the Young Child Celebration at State House Day!

This year, State House Day and the Week of the Young Child come together—where play meets policy. To support this powerful intersection, MaineAEYC is offering up to 10 mini-grants of $100 to help programs participate in State House Day.

This is your opportunity to bring the joy, creativity, and impact of early childhood education directly to policymakers. Showcase the vital work of caregivers and educators, connect with legislators and community partners, and help elevate child care issues at the state level—through play-based, hands-on engagement.

Grant Includes: $100 stipend + table/space at State House Day

Bring Your Creativity: Interactive, play-based materials are encouraged to engage legislators and demonstrate how early learning shapes policy. Children are welcome!
